Quick Overview
    Ready-to-install package of layered precured dry intumescent, made for use in large openings with cables, cable trays, blank openings or multiple penetrating items. Metacaulk Firestop Pillows expand when exposed to heat, forming a refractory char that tightly seals to prevent the spread of flames, smoke, and toxic fumes. They are easy to install with no tools and no cure time required. In certain installations, no wire mesh is needed, although some UL designs using multiple pillows may require sealant or putty to fill gaps. These pillows are reusable and can be removed and reinstalled if needed, making them cost-effective and versatile. Metacaulk Firestop Pillows are available in two sizes.
